Who We Are
Bayville Meat Center was established in 1976 by Pasquale and Else Vassallo. Pasquale was born in the Bronx, NY as a first generation Italian American while Else was born in Berghausen, Germany. Pasquale spent most of his youth in the kitchen, preparing meals for friends and family.
As a second generation butcher, Pasquale originally opened BMC as a craft butcher shop that his son, Edward has expanded into fine delicatessen and gourmet catering. Edward’s son, Michael joins him in honoring the family legacy.
Three generations of family owned and operated business allows us great pride in our services. We appreciate the many generations of customers who have supported us throughout the years and have grown to become part of our own extended customers.
